Kirsty Chiaplias has over 20 years of cooking experience in professional kitchens under her belt.
Starting out as a 16 year old apprentice in one of Melbourne’s five star hotels, Kirsty has also worked with some very prominent chefs in her time including Gordon Ramsay, Jarrod Hudson of Easy Tiger in Smith Street (1 hat), Andrew Blake of Blake's (2 hat) and now for almost three years, Ismail Tosun – the owner of Gigibaba.
With expertise ranging from many different cuisines, Thai, modern Australian, and Greek - stemming from her own heritage, she has now found her niche in Turkish & Middle Eastern flavours.
